* DaimlerChrysler increased rebates to boost sales of its slow-selling small cars in the U.S. The incentives included $1,750 on 1999 Dodge Stratus, Plymouth Breeze and Chrysler Cirrus cars, up from $1,500, and $1,500 on 1999 Sebring coupes and convertibles, up from $1,000. The move comes a day after GM and Ford added incentives on their autos.
