An Orange County Superior Court judge ruled last week that the city must conduct a public review of the Bixby Old Ranch Towne Center’s impact on local schools. Judge William F. McDonald also ordered the city to correct a table in the project’s environmental impact report. “This is definitely a decision that the city can live with,” City Manager Keith Till said.
Seal Beach was sued by the city of Los Alamitos and the Rossmoor Business Center over the 218-acre Bixby project. McDonald will decide in September whether the project can go forward.
