Huntington Beach police stopped one car headed north on the San Diego Freeway soon after the heist at the 7th Street exit in Long Beach. They arrested a man and a woman, Liston Oswanio David, 32, of Los Angeles and Tracy Lorraine Hark, 33, of Carson, on suspicion of possession of stolen property.

Later, a Seal Beach officer spotted another vehicle that matched the description of a car in the robbery and followed it to 1024 Bennett St. in Long Beach. Two people fled on foot and were quickly apprehended. Two others ran into a nearby apartment, where a standoff continued until they surrendered at 10:30 p.m.
