Nosotros Awards Set for July 30 in Beverly Hills
The 29th annual Nosotros Golden Eagle Awards honoring Latinos in film, television and the theatrical arts will be held July 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Among those to be recognized at this year’s black-tie dinner are singer Jose Feliciano, actor Eddie Albert, television journalist Maria Elena Salinas and the National Council of La Raza, the nation’s largest constituency-based Latino civil rights group.
The ceremony will also mark the unveiling of the Ricardo Montalban-Nosotros Performing Arts Project, an $8-million endeavor that includes the acquisition of a major Hollywood theater.
The group has since become an advocate for Latino entertainers and the community they serve.
