Noisy Departure

Re: A Noise Within leaving Glendale (Theater Notes, by Don Shirley, June 20):

The city of Glendale and its citizens have provided immeasurable support for this company. I hate to say “We made you what you are today” but it’s true. I’m feeling a little like the first wife who put her college sweetheart through medical school, only to be dumped and replaced by someone else (Cal State L.A.).
