Expanded Coverage of Personal Technology

Personal technology--from cyberspace to consumer electronics to personal computing to telecommunications--is transforming our lives in dramatic ways.

Starting Thursday, The Times will expand its coverage of this fast-changing world by launching a weekly page or pages devoted to news, trends and advice on personal technology.

The new coverage, to be called “The Cutting Edge: Focus on Personal Technology,” will appear each Thursday in Business and will build on the section’s daily technology coverage and its focus on tech in Monday’s Cutting Edge pages. The Monday section will continue to include personal technology in its coverage of the industry. Some columns and features in Monday’s pages, such as Gamers’ Corner and Telecom Talk, will move to Thursday.
