NEWPORT BEACH
The City Council tonight will revisit the long-debated traffic phasing ordinance to fine-tune some of the language before putting it to a final vote. The ordinance requires developers to pay for street improvements at a rate roughly proportional to their project’s impact on traffic. At a meeting last month, council members approved the first reading of the changes on a 6-1 vote.
