Skateboarder Hit by Car Dies in Hospital
A 19-year-old Oxnard man who was hit by a car while riding his skateboard died early Friday after spending nearly a week on life support, according to the county medical examiner’s office.
Brandon Snow was pronounced dead at 12:20 a.m. in the intensive care unit at Ventura County Medical Center.
He suffered major head injuries July 9 when he failed to stop at a red light while skateboarding on Wooley Road at C Street.
Snow was struck by a car driven by Braulio Mendoza Perez, 42, of Oxnard.
Perez was not injured.
