Lancaster Turns Back Stockton, 12-8

Cirilo Cruz drove in four runs with three hits, including his third home run, and Lancaster beat Stockton, 12-8, on Saturday night at the Hangar.

Greg Wooten (4-2) allowed four earned runs in six innings for the JetHawks.

Alex Fernandez and Jermaine Clark also homered for Lancaster (10-13).

Outfielder Matt Sachse of the JetHawks was promoted to the Seattle Mariners’ triple-A affiliate at Tacoma of the Pacific Coast League. Wilfredo Quintana has been added to the roster to replace Sachse.

The JetHawks placed first baseman Shawn McCorkle on the disabled listed because of a sore right wrist.
