Plans for a town hall meeting on annexation of Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills will be finalized at tonight’s Sphere of Influence Community Task Force meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to give residents a chance to express their feelings and opinions about annexation.
At the town hall meeting, Lake Forest officials will give a presentation on annexation. Issues raised will be included in the task force’s recommendations to the city on annexation. The 10-member committee comprises city and county officials and Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills residents.
Today’s task force meeting will be at 5 p.m. at Portola Hills Elementary School, 19422 Saddleback Ranch Road. The town hall meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at Foothill Ranch Elementary School, 1 Torino Drive. Refreshments will be provided.
