PLACENTIA
The Traffic Safety Commission on Monday postponed voting on a proposed no-parking zone in front of John Tynes Elementary School because two commissioners were not at the public hearing. The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District has requested that the city limit street parking to allow room for buses to load and unload students in front of the school, at 735 Stanford Drive. The commission now plans to take action on the proposal at its Aug. 16 meeting.
