Hispanic Fund Set to Honor Sponsors
Sponsors of the Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment Fund will be honored Thursday night in Costa Mesa.
The 6-year-old fund, which reached its $1-million endowment goal last year, has given away about $90,000 in scholarships to Hispanic youth.
Among the organization’s contributors expected to be honored at the reception are: Disneyland, the Los Angeles Times, McDonald’s Corp., Lincoln Mercury, Miller Brewing Co., Sheriff Mike Carona, Union Bank of California and Washington Mutual Inc.
