Premier Laser Previews Quarterly Results

Premier Laser Systems Inc., the Irvine manufacturer of lasers, fiber optic delivery systems and associated products for the eye-care, dental and surgical markets, said it expects revenue for the first fiscal quarter, ended June 30, to be $3.6 million to $3.7 million, compared with revenue of $3.4 million for the first quarter of last fiscal year and $3.9 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 1999. Shipments of certain products were affected by supplier issues, which are expected to be corrected in the second quarter, the company said.
