THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times Orange County publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

BREA

* Poplar Avenue: A 1999 Toyota was reported stolen in the 200 block at 11:58 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Wood Canyon and Aliso Creek Road: Six engines and a water-dropping helicopter responded about 2:45 p.m. Monday to a one-acre fire adjacent to the Wood Canyon County Park area. The brush fire was extinguished at 3:15 p.m.

ORANGE

* East Taft Avenue: A car was reported stolen in the 700 block at 10:34 p.m. Saturday.

* East Lincoln Avenue: Report of the theft of more than $400 from a liquor store in the 1600 block at 2:10 a.m. Friday.

* East Coral: Report of a vehicle stolen from a carport in the 1800 block at 6:28 a.m. Friday.

* West Orangewood Avenue: Report of a bomb threat in the 1700 block at 1:24 p.m. Friday.

* East Garfield: Report of a residential burglary with forced entry in the 2500 block at 4:48 p.m. Friday.

* West Chapman: Report of a robbery at a business in the 4000 block at 11:47 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Borromeo Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 3:39 p.m. Thursday.

* Bagnall Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 200 block at 10:31 a.m. Thursday.

WESTMINSTER

* Westminster Boulevard: Report of shots fired at La Puerta del Sol, a bar in the 7700 block, at 9:45 p.m. Sunday. One man was hit and injured with a pool cue during the incident. Five people were detained, but there were no arrests.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Yorba Linda.
