Fitz Intermediate School will host a career day Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to noon, at 4600 McFadden Ave. A special agent from the FBI, the curator of the Santa Ana Zoo, a television network executive, a mortician and a lifeguard will be among the professionals in attendance. More than 30 speakers will discuss opportunities and educational requirements for a variety of professions with the school’s 840 seventh- and eighth-graders. The meetings will be conducted in classrooms, with students given the opportunity to hear up to six presentations. Information: (714) 663-6503.
