McCormick & Co. the world’s largest spice maker, said it will fire 300 workers, mostly in Europe, and consolidate three British plants into two in a move to focus on markets with better growth prospects, including the United Staes. McCormick expects the restructuring to save about $6 million a year, which it will use for advertising and product development.
