Murray Charity Event Will Be Aug. 16 at Riviera
The Jim Murray Inaugural Golf Classic will be held at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades on Aug. 16. It is the first fund-raising event for the Jim Murray Memorial Foundation, set up in honor of the late Times sports columnist.
The foundation will offer a scholarship to a first-year college journalism student determined through a nationwide essay contest.
