CYPRESS
The City Council last week unanimously approved a plan to spend $850,000 to improve conditions at Arnold/Cypress Park. The city will install new security lighting, plant more trees by the parking lot and build a drinking fountain. The money comes from community development block grants. Construction should be completed by the fall, officials said.
