Police are seeking the public’s help in finding the man who robbed a Bank of America on June 14 and escaped with $7,600. The man entered the bank in the 16100 block of Harbor Boulevard about 12:43 p.m. and passed a teller a note, Police Sgt. Jim Perry said. The man, described as 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, wore gauze bandages wrapped around his head and face, dark sunglasses and gray clothing, and he was last seen leaving the area in a gray Ford Mustang, Perry said. “This is the first case we’ve had where someone went to that extreme to disguise his appearance,” Perry said. “He made himself look like the invisible man.” It was the first bank robbery in Fountain Valley this year, he said. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Police Department at (714) 593-4485.
