MISSION VIEJO

The Planning Commission will vote tonight on a proposed 232,000-square-foot office complex that has drawn protests from many in a nearby residential area. Residents fear that the traffic generated by the two four-story office buildings--bounded by Puerta Real, Via Grande and Interstate 5--will increase the number of drivers cutting through their neighborhood. A traffic study completed in April concludes that the streets can handle the traffic the project will generate, city officials said. The commission meets at 7 p.m. in City Hall, 25909 Pala.
