Corinthian Posts Net Income and Revenue Gains
Corinthian Colleges Inc., Santa Ana operator of private, for-profit colleges, reported that second quarter net income climbed to $1.5 million, or 19 cents a share, from $712,000, or 10 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 increased 25% to $33 million from $26.4 million.
