Police Search for Fairgrounds Rapist
Police are looking for the man who raped a woman at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds on Monday.
The 64-year-old woman was walking for exercise near Gate 14 between 8:55 and 9:40 a.m. when a man with a knife surprised her from behind and forced her to the bushes, where he raped her, said Pomona Police Sgt. Gordon Jones
“The fairgrounds had no events scheduled at that time. The parking lot area of the fairgrounds was empty,” Jones said.
Police described the attacker as a thin Latino, about 5-feet-8, with dark eyes and dark, short hair graying on the sides. He wore a blue muscle shirt with red piping and dark gray pants.
