PepsiCo Inc., the world’s No. 2 soft-drink company, said it will stop selling its Josta brand soft drink at the end of the month because the drink didn’t become popular. Josta, which is made with the Brazilian guarana bean and caffeine, is a high-energy drink that Pepsi began selling in July 1997, PepsiCo spokesman Jeff Brown said. While the drink originally found an audience with younger consumers, its sales never expanded to a wider group.
