Devine was an active member and past president of the California Assn. of Health Care Facilities.

His family described Devine as a man with many interests and a lot of energy. Devine’s motto was that singing loudly in church was more important than the quality of a person’s voice, his family said.

Devine is survived by his wife, Lee Devine of Camarillo; three sons, Michael Devine of Glendale, Neill Devine of Spokane, Wash., and Patrick Devine of Shadow Hills; a daughter, Katie Grehan of Rockville Centre, N.Y.; four stepchildren; a sister, Sally Sullivan of Newport Beach, two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial Mass at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Camarillo.

In lieu of flowers, people are asked to make donations to their favorite charities.

Pierce Bros. Griffin Mortuary in Camarillo is handling the arrangements.
