WESTMINSTER
The City Council recently approved a $350,000 budget adjustment for costs connected to the Little Saigon protests. The latest estimate on police overtime for the demonstrations outside a video store is about $200,000, City Manager Don Vestal said, while other city costs total about $30,000. The council approved the higher amount in expectation of receiving a bill from other cities that sent police officers to help control the protests.
