SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

The San Juan Capistrano Rotary Club will dedicate the recently renovated Scout Hut on April 17. The hut was built for Boy Scout Troop 12 in 1938 through donations from the community. Since then, it has served as the home for many Scout troops and the South Coast Literacy Council. More than $65,000 was raised last year for the renovation, but funds are still needed to pay for an outdoor sound system and patio furniture. Information: Joseph Cortese, (949) 496-3731.
