Gas Prices

The price of gas can go up to $5 a gallon for all I care. No, I don’t ride a bike or jog to work. I don’t use public transportation except occasionally the Metro subway for fun. Yes, I do own a car, but haven’t been to a gas station in over two years. I do enjoy driving by the local filling station that I used to have to frequent thinking to myself, thank God, I will never have to support one of those frustrating establishments ever again.

How can that be, you ask? Simple, I drive an electric vehicle. One of my many “filling stations” is at home. I would have it no other way. And electrics are so inexpensive. Their fuel is dirt cheap and there is virtually no vehicle maintenance.

Oh, and by the way, for those who think electric vehicles are gutless golf carts, mine goes from 0 to 60 in 7.5 seconds.
