CYPRESS
Residents last week formed Cypress Cares, a volunteer group that will mourn the victims of the school massacre in Littleton, Colo., by gathering condolences and sending them to the grieving families.
Letters, cards, videotapes or audiotapes may be deposited at a Cypress Cares drop center: Cypress Civic Center, 5275 Orange Ave.; Seniors Center, 9031 Grindlay St.; Community Center, 5700 Orange Ave.; or the Cypress Branch Library, 5331 Orange Ave. Information: (714) 229-6783 or (714) 892-0400.
