Robbers Escape in Restaurant Holdup
Two employees were held at gunpoint during a robbery at a Taco Bell on Wednesday night.
Authorities are looking for two men who entered the fast-food restaurant at 7880 Telegraph Road just before 10 p.m. Police said the men jumped over the counter and pointed a handgun at the employees while emptying a cash register. They then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money without harming the workers.
Officers searched the area for suspects.
Employees described the two male robbers as being about 18 years old, authorities said. One was about 5-feet-6 and 190 pounds, the second was described as 5-feet-5 and 130 pounds.
