In another golf regional:

Eastern regional--Ryan Wyman (70), Andy Smith (76), Jeff Siembieda (77), Brian Edick (78) and Mark Lauver (78) helped Hart finish second in team competition at Mesquite Country Club in Palm Springs.

Hart’s score of 379 trailed only Irvine University (370). Palm Desert also qualified for the team finals Thursday with a score of 386.

Calabasas finished fourth at 390. Justin Ohye shot 73 and Aaron Levine shot 77 for the Coyotes.
