IRVINE
UC Irvine has named Regina Fodor associate vice chancellor of university advancement, effective June 1. Fodor, who has served as assistant vice chancellor and executive director of development since 1997, succeeds James W. Asp II, who is leaving the university after six years for Sarah Lawrence College outside New York City. Fodor, a Newport Beach resident, joined UC Irvine in 1996 as director of external relations for the School of Social Ecology.
