LAGUNA WOODS
The City Council will hold a workshop and public meeting at 1 p.m. today to discuss the proposed commercial center for a vacant parcel on the north side of El Toro Road, between Moulton Parkway and Calle Sonora. City Manager Leslie Keane said the city is particularly concerned with the impact the center will have on traffic and water runoff. Other items to be discussed include a shared parking proposal and the entryway design for the center. The workshop will be followed by the regular council meeting at 2 p.m. Both will be in the boardroom of the Leisure World administration building, 23522 Paseo de Valencia.
