LOS ALAMITOS
The city tonight will reward property owners for maintaining their properties. During a 7 p.m. ceremony at City Hall, 3191 Katella Ave., officials will hand out 19 first-place awards to homeowners in 19 areas of the city. One to three home owners in each area will also receive honorable mention awards. Judges examined the landscaping, driveways, decorative walls and fences of homes and businesses to reach their decision. The program aims to increase pride in home ownership.
