COSTA MESA
The City Council recently made appointments to the Planning Commission and the Parks, Recreation Facilities and Parkways Commission. Katie Wilson was appointed to the Planning Commission on a 3-2 vote with Mayor Gary Monahan and Councilman Joe Erickson voting no. Wilson replaces Commissioner Christopher Colvin, who resigned due to illness, and will serve until Feb. 28, 2001. Park commissioners Mark Harris, Chris Sarris and Jonathan Zich were reappointed to four-year terms on a 3-2 vote, with council members Libby Cowan and Linda Dixon voting no.
