LAGUNA WOODS
The city is accepting applications for its resident Planning Advisory Committee to work on the Burnett/Polygon development project. Dubbed the Town Centre, the 253,000-square-foot commercial center includes office and retail space, a 140-room hotel and restaurant. The project is being reviewed for approval by the City Council.
City Manager Leslie Keane said committee members will review the project and provide recommendations to the council. The mayor will appoint the seven members, subject to council approval, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. They will sit on the committee through the duration of the project.
Applications are available in Keane’s office, 23522 Paseo de Valencia.
