Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. said its fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell 4.9% as markdowns on a glut of clothing from last year wiped out higher sales of its latest fashion lines. Profit from operations fell to $27.3 million, or 27 cents a share, in the quarter ended April 3, from net income of $28.7 million, or 29 cents, a year earlier. That matched the average estimates. Revenue rose 24% to $445.7 million from $359.2 million.
