The Nasdaq Stock Market won’t extend trading hours before the fourth quarter, said Richard Ketchum, president of the National Assn. of Securities Dealers. Nasdaq previously said it would consider lengthening its trading day as early as this summer. “After talking with traders we wanted to give them as much time as possible to prepare for longer hours,” Ketchum said. The Nasdaq trading day currently runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. New York time. . . . Not all investors are turning away from Internet stocks: Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc. raised $320 million Tuesday selling 16 million shares of DLJDirect (ticker symbol: DIR) to the public at $20 each, the top of the expected range. DLJ will keep 84% of the unit.
