Comedy Camp Tryouts Are Scheduled

The Laugh Factory in Hollywood will have tryouts for its summer Comedy Camp at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Applicants will introduce themselves and talk with Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada, who has run the camp for more than 10 years.
The program targets academically and economically underprivileged young people ages 8 to 18.
About 30 will be selected to participate in the free 10-week comedy training program.
Past instructors have included Richard Pryor, Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans and Paul Rodriguez.
Auditions will be held at the Laugh Factory, 8001 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles.
