THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BREA

* West Imperial Highway: A burglary was reported in the 300 block at 6:16 p.m. Monday.

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 300 block at 2:47 p.m. Monday.

* West Central Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 400 block at 2:37 p.m. Monday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Newhope Street: A man stole merchandise from boxes at Costco in the 17900 block, concealed it in his pants and was arrested when he left the store without paying at 4:22 p.m. Friday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Florida Street: A woman living in the 18500 block reported people peering into her bathroom window at 8:35 a.m. Saturday.

MISSION VIEJO

* La Glorieta: In the 23000 block at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, one woman was arrested on a warrant for burglary and possession of narcotics. Another woman was arrested for possession of narcotic paraphernalia. A third woman was arrested for possession of stolen property and of drug paraphernalia. A man was also cited.

* Santa Margarita Parkway: Four men were arrested for stealing clothing from a business in the 27000 block at 10:56 a.m. Saturday. All the clothing was recovered.

* Santa Margarita and Marguerite parkways: A man was arrested for being under the influence of narcotics at 2:55 a.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Cypress Street: A report of shots fired in the 900 block was made at 11:36 p.m. Monday.

* Orange (57) Freeway at Orangethorpe Avenue: Graffiti was reported at 8:31 p.m. Monday.

* Alta Vista at Sue Drive: A robbery was reported at 4:05 a.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Camden Court: A grand theft was reported in the 23000 block at 2:46 p.m. Monday.

* Fairmont Boulevard: Malicious mischief was reported in the 5300 block at 7:11 a.m. Monday.

* Richfield Road: A burglary was reported in the 5400 block at 4:24 a.m. Monday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ANAHEIM HILLS

* South Roosevelt Road at East Santa Ana Canyon Road: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 6:18 p.m. Monday.

* South Imperial Highway at East Nohl Ranch Road: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 5:45 p.m. Monday.

* Marblehead Way: A grand theft was reported in the 8000 block at 7:12 a.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Tuesday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
