Monrovia 13, La Canada 6--The Wildcats (8-1, 4-0) relied on big plays and excellent first-quarter field position to hold off the Spartans at La Canada.

David Rosales of La Canada (4-5, 2-2) scored on a seven-yard run just before halftime to pull the Spartans to within 13-6.

The Spartans drove to the Arcadia 19 with 2:22 remaining, but Chet Johnson-Blasucci was dropped for an 11-yard loss on fourth down.
