A Taste With Jancis

British wine writer Jancis Robinson, a master of wine and Decanter magazine’s woman of the year, hosts a pair of dinners this week to promote her latest revision of the “Oxford Companion to Wine” (Oxford University Press, $65).

Dinners are scheduled at Pasadena’s Bistro 45 tonight and at Santa Monica’s Michael’s Restaurant Thursday night. Among the wineries to be represented are Olivier LeFlaive, Biondi-Santi, Trefethen, Arrowood and Hanzell. Tickets are $125, including tax and tip.
