Residents’ concerns about traffic and safety have prompted the Planning Commission to deny a woman’s request to expand her home-based day-care business.
The Planning Commission on Monday rejected Mandy Moussavi’s request to increase the maximum number of children she can care for in her home on Fairfield Street from six to 12.
The Planning Commission agreed that the 48 extra car trips that the business could generate up and down the street would make the gated community’s street unsafe for children.
