BUENA PARK
Parents dropping off their children in front of the Boys & Girls Club will soon discover restricted parking there.
The City Council, at the urging of Bruce Hird, the center’s executive director, voted to restrict temporary parking because of the level of traffic on Knott Avenue. Parents will be prohibited from dropping off or picking up their children in front of the facility.
Hird said the club is also in the process of seeking bids to expand its parking lot to alleviate some of the congestion.
