UCLA (3-6, 1-5) vs. Washington (6-3, 5-1)

Share

* Kickoff: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rose Bowl, Channel 7.

* Story line: The potential conference champion plays the potential last-place team, neither of which anyone would have figured in mid-September. Otherwise known as: UCLA gets the chance to damage someone else’s season for a change.

* UCLA update: Thirteen seniors will be on hand for their final home games, before the season concludes next week at the Coliseum. At stake for all the Bruins is avoiding the first four-game losing streak since 1994.

* Washington update: The Huskies are ranked for the first time in 13 months and have won three in a row to move into first place in the Pac-10. The big victory was against Stanford on Oct. 30, and it also gave Washington the tiebreaker in case the teams are even at the end of the season, as they are now.
