Farmer, Foster Feeling Better

Share

Nearly two weeks without a game have apparently given two of the Bruins’ best offensive weapons, receiver Danny Farmer and tailback DeShaun Foster, a chance to finally get close to 100% again after battling nagging injuries most of the season.

“They’ll be as healthy as they’ve been all year,” Coach Bob Toledo said.

Foster said his troublesome right ankle feels better than it has in six weeks, meaning he should get more than two carries against Washington on Saturday for the first time since that Sept. 25 game against Stanford. The Bruins plan to play Farmer at flanker and split end in an attempt to maximize his opportunities. He has been hampered by groin and ankle problems.
