Woman Sentenced to 5 Years for Pandering

The former owner of a Camarillo massage parlor who was convicted in September of felony pandering has been sentenced to five years and four months in prison, authorities said Friday.

A jury found Claudine T. Eubank, 58, guilty of allowing her employees to have sex with customers at Le Papillon massage parlor, authorities said.

Eubank’s business, which was located in a strip mall on North Lantana Court, was raided in 1995 after authorities received several anonymous tips complaining of a high volume of male traffic at the store.

At the time of her arrest, county investigators said undercover agents were propositioned for sexual favors and that an undercover female agent was approached for a prostitution job.

Eubank, a San Diego County resident, was sentenced Wednesday on two counts and immediately taken into custody, according to the district attorney’s office.

State law mandates prison time for a conviction on felony pandering.
