Yorba Linda residents who want to be the fifth member of the City Council can begin filing nomination papers today to run in the March special election.
The papers are available in the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave.
The deadline to file for candidacy is Dec. 10. The winner of the March 7 election will serve the remainder of former Councilman Gene Wisner’s term, which ends in 2002. Wisner stepped down in September, citing health reasons.
