THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* San Miguel Court: A man asked Texaco customers in the 10000 block for money in exchange for fueling gas tanks with a credit card stolen from his roommate at 4:02 p.m. Saturday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Harbor Boulevard: A report of a commercial robbery in the 12000 block at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. A man, described only as a Latino, entered a Hollywood Video store and brandished a handgun. He took a customer’s wallet and $700 cash from the business.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: An unsupervised toddler was reported playing in the dirt close to the highway at the intersection of Newland at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Caminito Mescalero: A vehicle was reported broken into in the 22000 block at 12:30 p.m. Monday. Audio equipment, speakers and compact discs were reported stolen.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Aloma Avenue: A man reported at 1 p.m. Thursday that someone had broken into his car and stole cash from his wallet. The passenger window was rolled down three inches.

* Via Valverde: A woman in the 29500 block reported that someone threw a rock into her backyard around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, shattering a glass coffee table.

LAKE FOREST

* Aspan and Lake Forest Drive: A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after failing a sobriety test at 11:35 p.m. Friday.

* Rockfield Boulevard and Mercury: A man was walking down the middle of traffic lanes at 2 a.m. Friday. He identified himself using false government immigration documents. He was arrested for having forged documents and booked into County Jail.

TUSTIN

* Irvine Boulevard: Report of a robbery in the 18000 block at 11:19 p.m. Saturday.

* Mackenzie Drive: A home burglary was reported in the 12000 block at 11:58 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Tuesday: Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, Placentia, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park, Westminster and Yorba Linda.
