LA HABRA
La Habra City School District board members requested at Thursday night’s board meeting that district staff review the discipline policies submitted by the city’s elementary and middle schools for consistency after noticing apparent differences in the plans.
Board Clerk Cindy Frisbie Hecklau raised the issue after noting that some discipline plans seemed much longer than others.
Board President Antonio Valle Jr. agreed that all district schools should have discipline plans that are very similar, so they do not develop reputations for being too lenient or too harsh.
