Elderly Man Is Reported Missing
An elderly man suffering from dementia was reported missing from his Newport Beach home Sunday morning.
His wife discovered Rinaldo Martini, 78, had left their home in the 1800 block of Highland Street shortly after 8 a.m., Newport Beach Sgt. Fred Heinecke said. Martini is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and short gray hair.
He was last seen wearing a red plaid jacket, gray pants and a gray jacket.
“He may not know where he is,” Heinecke said. “We are worried about him being out there in this weather.”
